Dewey's pizza began with a simple dream: to create handcrafted pizza that brings people together. Founded in 1989 on 131 Jasper St in Dayton, Ohio, we have grown from a neighborhood gem into a beloved community institution.
Dewey — our founder — was a self-taught pizzaiolo who spent years perfecting his dough recipe, sourcing the finest local ingredients, and experimenting with flavor combinations that would become legendary. The first night we opened, we sold out every single pizza within three hours.
